This guide is intended to provide basic information about mobile home foreclosure and evictions under Ohio law. This section focuses on laws that apply to those purchasing a mobile home. Ohio Laws

Laws regarding mobile home purchase and foreclosure may differ depending upon individual circumstances. Below are three general scenarios of mobile home ownership and some laws that MAY apply:

Purchasing a mobile home that is affixed to the land on which it sits:

  • O.R.C. § 4503.06(C) - (Provides information about when mobile homes are affixed to the land on which they sit.)
  • Real estate foreclosure laws, as described in the "Residential Foreclosure" section of this guide.

Purchasing a mobile home by land installment contract:
