An introductory guide to the services and resources of the Hamilton County Law Library, primarily intended for newer and prospective library users. The services described in the guide are typically restricted to paid subscribers and to county officials.

CLEs at the Law Library

Library staff are pleased to offer a series of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs.  When we seek approval for a CLE, we typically apply for approval in both Ohio and Kentucky.  Currently, we offer several types of CLEs:

  • Substantive CLEs on a variety of legal topics and offered by subscribers and county officials
  • Legal research CLEs offered by library staff and legal information publishers (such as Lexis, Westlaw, and Casemaker)
  • Discounted CLEs via webcasts and telephone seminars through ALI CLE

See our upcoming CLE offerings here.  Our CLEs are usually low or no cost to library subscribers and county officials.  Other attendees pay a fee, due before the start of the program.

To sign up for a CLE, please call the Law Library at 513.946.5300 or email us.  We require advance registration for CLEs as they generally reach capacity.
