_Welcome!

An introductory guide to the services and resources of the Hamilton County Law Library, primarily intended for newer and prospective library users. The services described in the guide are typically restricted to paid subscribers and to county officials.

New Books in the Collection

We display new books in cases in the Main Room.  Please browse them periodically and let us know what additional resources you'd like to see.  You are welcome to give suggestions for specific books or for subjects that need strengthening here.  Just let Lauren Morrison know.

Print Collection (a.k.a. books)

The Law Library has an extensive collection of current and historical print materials.  Anyone may search our catalog. Just click on Online Catalog.  Materials may be used on-site.  Subscribers and county officials do have borrowing privileges.

Highlights of the collection include Ohio practice handbooks and other Ohio materials, historical Ohio statutory and case law, law reviews, current treatises in many practice areas, CLE booklets, and so much more.  The collection is arranged by the Library of Congress classification system and is fully represented in the Law Library's catalog.
